“I have had a lot of special patients, but usually the most memorable ones are those who have been to 3 or more offices with no success in treatment. Usually the parents are very stressed and the kids have tears in their eyes. These patients require time and coaching to get over their past experiences. Children are amazing; if you show them some respect and compassion, 9 out of 10 times they will give you a chance. I have had mothers knit me blankets, children draw me pictures, and my personal favorite is when I get home made cookies."
“I have the best job in the world. It is always important that my pediatric patients understand their parents, my dental team, and myself are working together to take care of them. Being a father of twins born premature my family and I have been very fortunate and our challenges have made me a better husband, father and dental practitioner. Coming to the dental office should never be a traumatic experience. We usually do all our dental work in the dark, play games and have a great time while successfully completing our task.”
